Tear Trough (hollow under eyes) Treatment

TEAR TROUGH TREATMENT

Hollow under eyes is also known as tear trough deformity which occurs due to loss of tissue from the under eye area or may be genetic. The shadow created by sunken eyes leads to apparent  dark circles. Sunken eyes or hollows also make one look tired and haggard. The best solution is injecting a thin soft hyaluronic acid filler.

Hyaluronic acid is a temporary filler injected under the eye below the eye socket to restore the volume loss. This evens out the hollowness and reduces the shadow which is cast due to sunken eyes, thereby reducing the appearance of dark circles. HA fillers are temporary and last for about a year or two when injected under the eyes. They are safe and they form the body’s natural moisturiser too.

The procedure is safe but should be done only by an expert.
